Ateme And Comcast Technology Solutions Partner To Power Premium Live Video

News Image
Ateme, a global provider of video compression, delivery and streaming technologies, has entered into a collaboration with Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS) to bring together their managed services and media platforms for premium live video delivery.

Under the agreement, CTS will integrate Ateme's TITAN compression, its NEA platform for OTT delivery and monetisation, and the Ateme+ SaaS offering into the Comcast Media360 platform — an intelligent media supply chain that covers live encoding and distribution. The combined proposition is designed to improve video quality, raise operational efficiency and provide seamless scalability across both broadcast and streaming workflows for media companies, broadcasters and operators.

Beyond the technology integration, the partnership establishes a framework for ongoing innovation by pairing CTS's global scale and media services expertise with Ateme's strengths in compression, OTT delivery and streaming. The companies aim to deliver future-ready solutions that simplify increasingly complex media workflows and accelerate adoption of cloud-native, automated and AI-enabled live video services.

"We are delighted to partner with CTS to help customers simplify and optimize live media delivery," said Michel Artières, CEO at Ateme. "Together, we are combining leading services and industry-leading technologies to deliver the performance, efficiency and flexibility required by today's media industry."

"Ateme has built an outstanding reputation for innovation in video compression and OTT delivery," said Bart Spriester, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Streaming, Broadcast and Advertising at Comcast Technology Solutions. "By combining the full capabilities of Comcast Media360 with Ateme's advanced technologies, we're helping customers simplify live video workflows, improve operational efficiency, deliver and monetize exceptional viewing experiences across live broadcast and streaming environments."
