Ateme And NVIDIA Team Up On Live Apple Immersive Workflows

Ateme has unveiled a collaboration with NVIDIA to enable new end-to-end workflows for creating and streaming live Apple Immersive experiences to Apple Vision Pro.

The pipeline brings together immersive capture, encoding and OTT delivery using Ateme's TITAN video processing platform and its NEA streaming origin.

"Apple Immersive enables new possibilities for storytelling, and our technologies support the workflows needed to bring live experiences to Apple Vision Pro," said Mickael Raulet, CTO, Ateme.

The workflow accommodates capture with the Blackmagic Design URSA Cine Immersive 100G, which records stereoscopic ultra‑high‑resolution video. Powered by the latest NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Server Edition, Ateme's TITAN applies advanced compression methods such as Foveation, Multiview HEVC (MV-HEVC) and HTTP Live Streaming (HLS). With Ateme Smart Constant Quality — the company's AI-driven content‑adaptive encoding — TITAN dynamically optimises compression while preserving fine visual detail.

Audio is supported via Apple Spatial Audio Format (ASAF) with Apple Positional Audio Codec (APAC), delivering immersive sound that matches the viewer’s point of view.

For distribution, Ateme NEA prepares immersive streams for OTT delivery over content delivery networks to compatible playback environments, including Apple Vision Pro.
