Radio Capris Opens New Koper Studios

Slovenia's Radio Capris has moved into new studios in Koper's city centre, introduced DAB+ broadcasts and retained its long-standing 91.7 FM service, as part of a wide-ranging technical refresh.

The popular commercial station has made the AEQ CAPITOL IP12 digital mixing console the heart of its main studio. The installation was delivered by Radio Capris's technical team in partnership with MTD, AEQ’s local representative in Slovenia, to ensure robust day-to-day operation and high audio quality.

AEQ's CAPITOL IP provides an intuitive and resilient working environment, combining digital processing with native IP connectivity. Its architecture enables control of multiple analogue, digital and AoIP sources from a single surface, streamlining live output and production while remaining flexible for future studio expansion.

With its straightforward operation, strong stability and broad integration options, the AEQ CAPITOL line is widely deployed by radio broadcasters worldwide. It suits facilities aiming to optimise workflows without forfeiting the advantages of an IP-based infrastructure.

Founded in 1993, Radio Capris has become one of Slovenia’s leading stations, offering programming that blends local news, entertainment and a carefully curated music mix. Its coverage reaches much of the west of the country, including Primorska, Ljubljana, Kranj and Postojna, and it is recognised for delivering some of the highest audio quality among Slovenian commercial stations.
