Gravity Media Powers Summer Of Live Music And Festival Coverage

With the summer season in full swing, Gravity Media has been busy across the UK, the Netherlands and Belgium, supplying technical and production expertise for major live music events and helping nurture the industry’s next generation.

In the Netherlands, Gravity Media was commissioned by MediaLane to handle screen and television recording for Ahoy Zingt De Nijs at Rotterdam Ahoy, ensuring the celebration of live music was comprehensively captured for audiences.

In Belgium, the company supported the student-organised One Minute Festival, a graduation project at Artevelde University College. Working closely with the cohort, Gravity Media provided guidance and real-world know-how as they built a large-scale multi-camera live production from scratch, offering valuable hands-on experience and showcasing emerging creative and technical talent.

Back in the UK, Gravity Media delivered broadcast facilities for Sky’s coverage of the Isle of Wight Festival, which welcomed more than 50,000 attendees. The newest production vehicle, MT501, housed the EVS operation, Main Stage gallery and compliance, while NOVA 109 served as the technical hub for the Main Presentation. This included a presentation studio hosting acoustic performances and two site-wide RF roaming presentation teams, helping bring the festival atmosphere to viewers at home as The Cure rounded off the weekend with a career-spanning closing set.

Meanwhile, Pinkpop 2025 once again turned Landgraaf into a premier festival destination. Gravity Media provided a comprehensive technical package including stage recordings, screen feeds, RF cameras, video distribution and media management. Live and file-based content was routed via the festival master control room to NPO Start Live, NPO 3, 3FM and other platforms, ensuring fans could follow performances wherever they were.
