NAGRAVISION Unveils NAGRA Venturi To Counter AI-Driven Streaming Piracy

Intelligence-led platform consolidates NAGRAVISION's streaming security capabilities to turn fragmented data into prioritised action as AI-assisted piracy accelerates.

Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland, and Phoenix (AZ), USA — Monday, 22 June 2026 — NAGRAVISION, a Kudelski Group (SIX:KUD.S) company and independent provider of content protection plus media and entertainment solutions, has introduced NAGRA Venturi, an intelligence-led streaming security offering designed to help service providers and rights holders detect threats, combat piracy and protect revenue with greater speed and precision.

Venturi brings the company's streaming security tools together under a single, intelligence-driven model, shifting anti-piracy efforts from fragmented, reactive measures to coordinated, data-led operations.

The launch comes as piracy becomes increasingly industrialised and AI-enabled. Criminal operations now automate workflows, scale illicit services in minutes and intensify attacks on live sports during peak value windows, leaving operators and rights holders flooded with alerts but uncertain where action will have the biggest impact.

NAGRA Venturi addresses this by aggregating and analysing data from across the streaming ecosystem to create a real-time view of piracy activity. It prioritises the highest-value, time-sensitive threats and orchestrates targeted interventions where they will deliver the greatest business benefit, allowing teams to focus on what matters rather than reacting to every signal.

"With AI in the hands of pirates, the market has reached an inflection point," said Morten Solbakken, EVP & COO at NAGRAVISION. "As piracy becomes faster, more automated, and increasingly intelligent, the industry needs a new approach. NAGRA Venturi is built to fight AI with AI, giving operators and rights holders the ability to move faster and with greater precision, providing the clarity to see the full picture, the focus to target the threats that matter, and the impact to protect revenue and the audience experience."

Venturi is anchored on three principles: clarity, focus and impact. Clarity unifies previously siloed signals into a single, real-time picture of piracy behaviour. Focus ranks and surfaces the most valuable, time-critical threats—particularly around live events—so teams can act decisively. Impact ties each intervention to measurable commercial outcomes, minimising revenue loss, safeguarding viewer experience and coordinating disruption across the ecosystem rather than in isolation.

As a managed service, Venturi includes NEXUS, the NAGRA Anti-Piracy Center, where analysts oversee monitoring, intelligence, investigations and enforcement with a global perspective on piracy. Because NAGRAVISION tracks activity across the wider ecosystem instead of a single network, it can uncover pirate infrastructure and leaked content that individual operators may miss, then coordinate simultaneous disruption at multiple points to maximise effect.

Complementary technologies, including forensic watermarking and multi-DRM, continue to be offered as standalone components within the NAGRA Venturi portfolio for customers that require modular deployment.

"For more than 30 years, NAGRAVISION has protected the world's most valuable content," adds Solbakken. "Built on that heritage—and informed by decades of front-line anti-piracy intelligence—NAGRA Venturi moves content protection from a reactive, tool-based model to a proactive, intelligence-led one designed for today's piracy landscape. NAGRAVISION is proud to be leading the charge to help its customers demonstrate the impact of their anti-piracy strategy—one that proves its value in commercial terms, not just technical ones."
