DoPchoice Unveils Modular SNAPBAG System For Creamsource Vortex2

At Cine Gear Expo 2026, DoPchoice introduced a comprehensive light-control ecosystem tailored to Creamsource's Vortex2 panel. The modular SNAPBAG® system arrives alongside matching SNAPGRID® and SNAPCLOTH® diffusion accessories, engineered to work with both one- and two-fixture set-ups.

At its core is the SNAPBAG for Vortex2, which enables refined control whether the light is used in punchy open-faced mode or in its Soft configuration. Measuring 61.5 cm x 40.5 cm x 26 cm (24.2" x 15.9" x 10.2") and weighing 0.6 kg, it secures quickly via durable elastic straps to deliver a lightweight, reliable softbox solution. An internal Quarter Grid Cloth baffle ensures even, homogeneous illumination, which can be softened further with two interchangeable fronts: a standard SNAPCLOTH or a Half Grid Cloth. For added directionality, two purpose-built SNAPGRIDs are available: a Direct Fit model that mounts to the Vortex2's face, and a 40° version that attaches to the SNAPBAG, with or without additional diffusion.

The system extends the Vortex2's flexibility with a dual-fixture option. Two SNAPBAG units can be joined side by side using hook-and-loop to create a wider, elongated source. Matching SNAPCLOTH and SNAPGRID accessories scale accordingly, offered in both single and 2x sizes. Spanning 125.5 cm (49.4"), the 2x SNAPGRID turns a pair of compact heads into a controllable large-format source—ideal for tabletop work, studios with low clearance, or any set requiring a broader wrap in tight spaces. All accessories attach whether the fixture is stand-mounted or suspended via the rear housing's LNX Mount Pin, and a carry bag is included for transport and storage.
