Pliant Technologies Showcases New Accessories

Pliant Technologies is set to showcase a range of new accessories at the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas, as it expands its offering for wireless intercom users across broadcast, live events and AV sectors.

Exhibiting at Booth C5535, the company will present new charging, connectivity and mounting solutions designed to enhance flexibility and scalability across its existing product lines, including SmartBoom headsets, MicroCom XR and CrewCom systems.

Among the highlights is a new SmartBoom USB connectivity option, available both as updated headset models — SmartBoom PRO and LITE — and as a standalone cable compatible with SmartBoom headsets equipped with dynamic microphones. The addition enables direct USB-C connections to phones, tablets and desktop computers, extending the usability of the headsets across Unified Communications and AV production environments.

Pliant will also introduce a 10-bay battery-only charger for MicroCom XR users, allowing simultaneous charging of up to ten headset batteries, aimed at larger teams requiring more efficient battery management.

In addition, a new MicroCom XR multi-device interface cable will be unveiled, enabling connection to USB or Lightning-based devices. The cable is designed to integrate external mobile communications or Unified Communications platforms directly into intercom workflows.

The new accessories form part of Pliant Technologies’ broader strategy to support evolving production environments with more adaptable and connected communication solutions.
