Registration is now open for IBC2026, which returns to RAI Amsterdam from 11–14 September 2026, promising an expanded Future Tech showcase, stronger Content Everywhere, and a bigger presence from leading exhibitors.

The show will once again bring together the global media and entertainment community to connect, collaborate and innovate, with a strong focus on practical outcomes as the industry navigates rapid change.

"IBC2026 comes at a defining moment for the global media and entertainment industry," said Michael Crimp, CEO of IBC. "In a market where companies are placing greater emphasis on meaningful engagement and real business value, IBC provides a truly international meeting point where ideas move forward, partnerships take shape, and innovation is put into practice – creating moments that matter for the industry."

With participants from more than 170 countries, IBC2026 will highlight advances across AI, cloud‑native workflows, content provenance, cyber security, immersive experiences, private 5G, sustainability, and next‑generation production tools. Across the RAI, visitors can expect a full programme of demonstrations, presentations, panels and networking designed to unlock commercial opportunities across every region.

For those seeking deeper insights, the IBC2026 Conference will convene global thought leaders, innovators and disruptors to explore the forces reshaping the sector worldwide — from AI‑driven creativity and shifting audience behaviour to emerging business models and the growing importance of trust. The world‑renowned IBC Technical Papers Programme returns with peer‑reviewed original research addressing critical industry challenges.

Future Tech in Hall 14, established as one of the show's most dynamic hubs, will be 30% larger than in 2025. It will showcase emerging technologies, start‑ups, scale‑ups, next‑generation talent and collaborative innovation projects in a highly interactive environment. New for 2026 are a Start‑Up Zone featuring 30–40 emerging companies and an expanded skills and development strand, including the IBC Talent Programme, Hackfest and creator initiatives.

To foster richer knowledge exchange and partnerships, IBC is introducing IBC Exchange — a new layer of structured, peer‑led conversations hosted in the Braindate Lounge within Future Tech. Complementing this, IBC Connect is a curated meetings programme designed to match exhibitors with senior decision‑makers and drive tangible commercial outcomes.

Future Tech will again host the IBC Accelerator Media Innovation Programme, where broadcasters, streamers, technology providers and research partners collaborate on fast‑track projects targeting real‑world industry needs. The programme continues to scale, with Google returning as headline sponsor and EIT Culture & Creativity joining as Innovation Partner for 2026.

Beyond sponsorship of Accelerators, Google is also returning to the show floor as a major Content Everywhere exhibitor in Hall 5. Content Everywhere — the showcase for technologies enabling global delivery across platforms and devices — is seeing strong momentum this year, with bookings significantly up year on year to date.

Further momentum is being driven by major media technology players expanding their presence at the show, including Avid, EVS, MediaKind, NEP, Prime Focus, Riedel, TVU Networks and Vizrt. Barco, Leica, Muybridge and Rakuten are among more than 50 companies exhibiting at IBC for the first time. Overall, IBC is on track to feature at least 44,000 m² of exhibitor space in 2026, with 42,000 m² already booked.

Also confirmed to return is The Media Talent Manifesto's World Skills Café, featuring a keynote from Evan Shapiro and a new workforce report from IAMT.

Registration is now live for attendees planning to join the industry in Amsterdam this September.
