MultiDyne Appoints Alex Collins as APAC Sales Director

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems has named Alex Collins as its new Sales Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, reinforcing the company's international growth and commitment to local partnerships. Collins, who brings more than two decades of broadcast and professional AV experience from previous regional roles at Vizrt, Ross Video, and Nevion, will oversee channel development and business expansion initiatives across the territory. The appointment comes just ahead of BroadcastAsia 2026 (Booth 5D2-3), where Collins and MultiDyne EVP of Sales Sebastian Mucha will engage with regional partners and showcase flagship technologies, including the SilverBack fiber camera systems and the modular VersaBrix signal transport platform.

MultiDyne will accentuate that commitment this month at BroadcastAsia 2026 (Singapore EXPO, May 20-22, Booth 5D2-3), where the company will highlight its SilverBack fiber camera systems, VersaBrix signal transport solutions, and other flagship product lines. Alex and MultiDyne EVP of Sales Sebastian Mucha will discuss regional partnership opportunities, evolving production workflows, and the company's expanding portfolio of fiber transport, signal conversion, and IP-enabled infrastructure solutions.

Alex brings more than 20 years of experience across the broadcast and professional AV industries, including more than a decade of leadership and channel management expertise throughout Southeast Asia and broader APAC markets. Reporting to Sebastian, he will lead regional sales development, channel partnerships, customer engagement, and business expansion initiatives across APAC.

Prior to joining MultiDyne, Alex held senior regional sales and channel management positions with Vizrt, Ross Video and Nevion, where he developed go-to-market strategies, expanded reseller ecosystems, and drove adoption of advanced live production, IP-based workflow, and fiber infrastructure technologies throughout the region. His experience working directly with broadcasters, systems integrators, production companies, and channel partners across markets including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand uniquely positions him to help accelerate MultiDyne's regional growth.

"APAC is a very dynamic and relationship-driven region, and success requires a strong local presence combined with trusted channel partnerships," said Collins. "MultiDyne has built an outstanding reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality fiber transport and signal conversion solutions, and I see tremendous opportunity to expand that visibility throughout the region. Broadcasters and AV professionals across APAC are continuing to invest in remote production, distributed workflows, SMPTE fiber connectivity, and flexible infrastructure for live events and content creation, all of which align well with MultiDyne's strengths."

Alex will also focus on strengthening MultiDyne's regional dealer and integration network through closer collaboration, partner enablement, and long-term relationship development.

"The channel is absolutely critical in APAC because local partners understand the unique requirements of each market and often maintain the strongest customer relationships," he said. "Our goal is to build a highly strategic partner ecosystem that supports sustainable growth while positioning MultiDyne as a preferred technology provider for broadcast, live production, sports, and professional AV applications."

At BroadcastAsia 2026, MultiDyne will demonstrate how its technology portfolio supports more flexible, efficient, and future-ready production infrastructures for broadcasters, live event producers, and AV professionals. Featured solutions will include the award-winning SilverBack series, which transforms studio and cinema cameras into fully integrated fiber camera systems, along with the versatile VersaBrix platform for modular fiber transport and signal conversion across broadcast and professional AV environments.

"Alex combines deep technical knowledge with extensive regional market experience and a proven ability to build successful partner relationships across APAC," said Sebastian Mucha, Executive Vice President of Sales & Strategy. "As MultiDyne continues expanding globally, his understanding of regional business cultures, emerging workflow trends, and channel-driven growth strategies will play a critical role in strengthening our presence throughout Asia-Pacific. BroadcastAsia provides the ideal platform to reinforce that commitment while demonstrating the value MultiDyne brings to broadcasters and AV professionals across the region."
