Gravity Media Unveils Studio W12 At London Production Centre

News Image
Gravity Media has launched Studio W12 at its London Production Centre in White City, expanding its footprint in the capital with a studio designed to unify production, streaming and branded content workflows in a single location.

The addition completes an end-to-end ecosystem across the site, connecting premium studio space with one of Europe's largest master control rooms (MCR), on-site production and post-production, and international distribution. Located in a major media and technology hub, the centre offers straightforward access for clients, talent and crews.

The move responds to the industry's shift towards hybrid production, where teams increasingly seek scalability, speed and operational agility. By concentrating multiple stages of the content chain in one place, Gravity Media aims to reduce vendor sprawl, cut handoffs and accelerate delivery.

Key capabilities at Studio W12 include:
- 24/7 availability, allowing round-the-clock scheduling and delivery, with integrated galleries and infrastructure to minimise downtime and speed setup.
- Built-in global connectivity via the London Production Centre's extensive MCR, enabling real-time routing between studios, control rooms and international destinations for distributed workflows.
- Flexible, multi-purpose space suited to broadcast, live production, corporate shoots, branded content and podcasts, supporting both live and pre-recorded formats and accommodating an audience of around 100 when required.
- Access to creative and technical expertise on site, helping simplify logistics and reduce international travel by centralising talent and resources in London.
- A sustainability-focused operation, with the wider building powered by renewable energy and measures in place to cut waste and improve resource efficiency; the centre has also completed the TAP Activator Scheme audit.

Underpinned by broadcast-grade, IP-based infrastructure, Studio W12 supports UHD and HD production, large-scale control room workflows, multi-operator replay and graphics, and fully integrated comms. The facility is designed for rapid reconfiguration, letting teams move efficiently between production setups while maintaining seamless integration across studios and control rooms.

The studio is complemented by Gravity Media's specialist camera and production know-how, as well as integrated graphics and technical services. It has been built to work collaboratively with in-house teams and external creative partners, providing a versatile environment for varied production requirements.

"Studio W12 is a key milestone in our continued investment in our London Production Centre," Jamie Hindhaugh, CEO of Gravity Media's UK, USA, Australia and Middle East Operations, said. "With its addition, our London facility now offers a complete production environment, bringing together every stage of the content journey in a one-stop-shop. It represents the final piece in our overall offering, making production simpler for our clients while providing a highly adaptable space built to handle everything from complex live broadcasts to fast-turnaround content."

The London Production Centre also provides comprehensive on-site support, including audience handling, set storage and integrated production services, alongside a range of additional on-site facilities to streamline delivery.

Studio W12 sits within Gravity Media's broader content strategy and supports initiatives such as the in-house Format Lab, enabling the development and production of original formats for international broadcasters and streamers. Its White City location brings proximity to leading media organisations and a deep pool of creative talent.

The new studio extends Gravity Media's global studio footprint, which includes facilities in Australia, Belgium, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.
