Sennheiser Spectera Integration Launches for Bitfocus Companion and Buttons

Sennheiser has announced the release of a dedicated Spectera module for the Bitfocus Companion and Buttons applications, significantly expanding the control capabilities available to audio engineers and technicians.

This integration allows for seamless, direct connection between Spectera and the Bitfocus software ecosystem, enabling advanced workflows such as dedicated "engineer modes" and rapid instrument swaps. By joining a library of over a thousand modules, Spectera can now be controlled via tactile button panels or integrated into wider automated environments alongside lighting and video hardware.

"The Spectera integration allows users to introduce tactile control via stream-deck-style button panels or touchscreen panels and makes Spectera ready for interoperability with devices across different industries," explains Greg Simon, Director, Technical Applications Engineering at Sennheiser. "I could now use a Spectera SEK to control lighting or have buttons on the console control Spectera, just as an example."
The Spectera module in Bitfocus Companion and Buttons opens up Spectera to the many control workflows that already rely on these powerful tools, be it in AV applications, live show productions or places of worship.
