HbbTV Releases Complete Recordings Of 2025 Symposium And Awards On YouTube

The HbbTV Association has released full video recordings of all 20 conference sessions from the HbbTV Symposium and Awards 2025, providing the industry with broad access to the main debates and developments in connected television.

The content is available on the Association's YouTube channel.

Staged in Istanbul and co-hosted with TVekstra, a leading Turkish provider of addressable advertising solutions, the flagship event brought together broadcasters, platform operators, device manufacturers, technology suppliers and regulators to explore the evolving TV ecosystem.

The published videos offer open access to the complete conference programme, featuring keynote addresses, expert presentations and roundtable discussions on the most pertinent topics in connected TV.

Sessions examined HbbTV's growth into new markets, its role in an IP-led television landscape, and routes to monetise services. They also covered specification updates, addressable advertising, accessibility, content discovery and regulatory frameworks.

The next HbbTV Symposium and Awards will be held in November 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, co-hosted with Catalonian public broadcaster 3Cat, with further details to follow.
