Dizplai Appoints Jon Robins As Director Of Technology

Dizplai has appointed Jon Robins as Director of Technology as the company looks to strengthen technology alignment across its business and support its growth strategy.

Robins joins the organisation from StreamAMG, where he served as Head of Solutions Architecture and was the company's most senior technologist. During his time there, he worked on developing and scaling direct-to-consumer media products and delivered mission-critical platforms designed for global audiences.

His experience spans high-traffic digital environments, with a focus on data integration, payment systems and platform scalability across the media and content sector.

In his new role at Dizplai, Robins will lead the engineering function while also focusing on aligning the company's technical capabilities with client outcomes. The role will see him working to optimise delivery speed, improve platform efficiency and strengthen collaboration between product, engineering and commercial teams.

The company said his appointment is aimed at ensuring engineering decisions translate into measurable value for customers, including faster deployments, improved performance against client KPIs and stronger returns from the company’s technology platform.

Robins has recently focused on modernising end-to-end delivery workflows, using updated tooling and improved team integration to increase speed, reliability and overall operational performance. Dizplai said these capabilities align closely with its commercial approach and focus on revenue-driven fan engagement.

"As we scale with partners who need better returns from their audience relationships, his experience will be critical in ensuring our platform delivers real value - connectivity that drives engagement, and engagement that drives revenue."

Robins said his background in sports streaming helped shape his understanding of the pressures facing media rights holders.

"Coming from the sports OTT streaming world, I understand the pressure rightsholders face. Audiences are fragmenting. Live content creators are consuming how fans engage. The opportunity now is to convert those new behaviours, build new fans, and drive new and traditional revenue streams. What drew me to Dizplai is that the company is already solving this, turning anonymous, passive viewers into active participants and building the data and monetisation layers around that participation. My job is to ensure our technology empowers every part of the business, and the rightsholders and creators we serve, to turn that opportunity into measurable, commercial value."
