Reflecmedia to release Mattenee at IBC 2004

Chroma key specialist Reflecmedia mark its 3rd anniversary at IBC with the release of ‘Mattenee’ – a new range of software plug-ins designed for use with their studio and portable Chromatte solutions.
Mattenee V1.0 has been developed for NLE and compositing applications including Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Chroma key is historically a time consuming process - whether using a hardware or software keying solution, to achieve the perfect key has required considerable expertise. Increased demands on professional producers and the ambition of DV users has resulted in pressures on time, cost and quality.
Reflecmedia's award-winning Chromatte products have revolutionised chroma key production, opening up the production technique to users at every level. The release of Mattenee, as a plug-in for established digital video applications, maximises the benefits of Chromatte and provides a rapid keying solution.
The unique algorithm that forms the basis of mattenee has been designed to recognise the narrow width of colour returned by Chromatte, meaning that, within seconds, users have achieved the best possible key from their footage. As a plug-in Mattenee works within the user’s preferred application, thus improving project workflow and avoiding the lengthy alternative of importing and exporting clips for adjustment in standalone applications.
Mattenee provides simplified and improved keying - allowing users to spend more time on the creativity of their production and not the chroma key process.
