Banijay UK Expands In-House Post-Production Operation Across Key Cities

Banijay UK is significantly scaling up its in-house post-production capabilities, unveiling a new team and facilities in London, doubling capacity in Glasgow, and continuing to invest in its Manchester operations.

The expanded infrastructure—branded B Post—is initially geared toward unscripted production but will be accessible to all Banijay UK labels. The company says the move supports more efficient workflows and tighter integration with emerging technologies. B Post now offers more than 25 cutting rooms, four online/grade suites, four audio suites and podcast studios across the UK.

Banijay UK Post Production is headed by Donna Mulvey-Jones, appointed earlier this year as Director of Post Production. With more than two decades of industry experience, Mulvey-Jones previously oversaw non-fiction post teams in both Los Angeles and the UK for Netflix. Before that, she established and ran in-house post facilities for All3Media and Fremantle.

In London, Mulvey-Jones will work alongside new hires Ben Keable, Head of Technical Operations, and Kate George, Senior Post Producer. Keable joins from halo Post Group, where he was Director of Operations, while George brings over 30 years of experience from roles at Molinare, ENVY, and others.

In Glasgow, Gavin Wilson has been promoted to Head of Technical Operations. He is joined by newcomers Jenny Bruce (Post Producer), Rachel Clark (Online Editor) and David Mercer (Senior Edit Support), all of whom previously worked at local facility Edit 123.

Banijay UK's Manchester post-production base continues to operate under the Workerbee label, led by Keren Aarons, who is also now supporting wider B Post operations and planning future regional growth.

Sarb Nijjer, Chief Operating Officer at Banijay UK, said: "It's a hugely exciting time for post production as AI, cloud editing and other technological advancements drive innovation in the sector. Investing in our capabilities, providing the right tech and the right people and putting post facilities at the heart of Banijay is an important step."

Mulvey-Jones added: "Post is not a 'later' stage anymore, or a bolt-on service – we're simply part of production. For a production company, bringing capability in-house just makes sense; it gives us control of the foundations and ensures we’re building workflows that are flexible for the future and on our own timelines. We’ll absolutely continue partnering with the fantastic post houses we rely on – but the industry is under pressure, technology is advancing fast, and it’s important for us to stay relevant in how we work."
