ENCO To Bring Smooth Camera Operation To InfoComm 2023

News Image
ENCO is bringing ultra-quiet, smooth camera operation to InfoComm, where the company will exhibit at Booth 3816 (June 14–16, Orlando).

The ENCO RUSHWORKS PTX Model 3 PRO robotic pan/tilt head incorporates several engineering advancements that make it ideal for use in any production setting, whether it’s House of Worship, Entertainment Venues, Sporting Events, or Newsroom environments.

Designed for larger payloads, the PTX Model 3 provides the torque necessary for smoothly controlling most professional-grade camera/lens combinations, including models from Blackmagic Design, Canon, Panasonic/Lumix, Red, Arri, Sony, and others.

"We premiered the PTX Model 3 PRO at ISE 2023 to much acclaim. It even won a Best of Show Award from AV Technology," said Rush Beesley, Founder of RUSHWORKS. "We are excited now for InfoComm audiences to experience this product. We think they will be impressed with the refinements that make it ideal for critical production environments where smooth operation and absolute quiet are of top importance."

Configuring multiple PTX units on a network simplifies connectivity and control. Camera operators can use any joystick that supports the versatile and broadly interoperable VISCA over IP protocol to execute commands like pan, titl, speed, ramp curves, presets and recalls, tally, and more. The RUSHWORKS VDESK Integrated Production System or RUSHCONTROL Robotics Control Software can also be used to remotely control positioning and camera functions.

Optimize the PTX Model 3 PRO for your workflows by adding accessories like a teleprompter rig, or choose from various wall- or ceiling-mount bracket options. Minimizing cable strain and stress, the PTX Model 3 PRO also features multiple passthrough connections for cameras and lenses between the base and moving arm, including SDI, HDMI, Cat6, and XLR 4-pin.

Designed and manufactured in the United States, the PTX Model 3 PRO is rugged and stable, constructed of aluminum and steel, with a head that measures 15” x 15” x 15” and weighing in at 43 lbs. This sturdy construction provides a solid platform for smooth presets and on-air moves.
