Media 100's 844/x V3 on display at Eurotek

Eurotek Ireland are showcasing the latest release of Media 100's award winning multi-layering real-time 10 bit edit system, 844/X.
Version 3 of the system began shipping earlier this week and visitors to Eurotek will be among the first to see and the advance in 844/x technology that include many new real-time and multi-stream capabilities.
Media 100 844/x offers advanced keying, 3D digital video effects (DVEs), shadow and glow effects, XML-based metadata interchange, and new performance optimisations for editing longer-form and more layer-intensive projects.
Vice President of marketing at Media 100 Rick Kielty said: “Version 3 exploits the parallel image processing pipelines of the GenesisEngine. Using numerous video/key streams simultaneously, we’ve been able to add complex yet lightning-fast multi-stream effects that creative users love and can’t get elsewhere, such as glow and shadow effects."
