BR Remote Announces New Camball3 Price

BR Remote has announced that it has introduced a new reduced price for the CamBall3. The company said the new cost is due to reducing its production costs and therefore passing on the savings to customers.

The business has said it can currently offer a reduction of just over £1,000 on the price of a Camball3, with the new price being held until April 2017.

BR Remote has just had its first year-end under the guidance of Nick Percy as Managing Director. Throughout this time, he has concentrated on organising the business, getting to grips with the costs of producing the products, and engaging with the company's suppliers.

He has also been looking at the firm's own development plans and a structure is now in place moving forward. Initially, BR Remote will concentrate on the Camball3, with developments planned for Genlock, Precision Positioning, DMX control, Free D input & output, Augmented and Virtual Reality applications, Built-in profile moves, Direct Fibre output and fibre control, and Built-in IP interface.

In addition to the above, the company has launched a new PTZF camera – the HDC-180 – in response to customer feedback. The product fills the price/performance gap between the HDC-160 and the Camball3. It features the same camera, electronics and chassis as the Camball3, but is aimed at indoor applications, with plastic covers and without the slip rings.

The HDC-180 can also be fitted with the upgrades as they become available, and is priced at £5,650.

One aspect BR Remote will also continue with making all of its developments retro-fittable to existing equipment.
