Flying Camera Company Expands Portfolio

News Image
It's another busy year here at the Flying Camera Company.

As well as the usual feature films, commercials, TV and drama shoots, we're also moving into the world of Natural History.

We'll be working with Silverback Films (The Hunt, BBC) throughout the year on a new landmark series, travelling to some exciting and remote locations and hopefully capturing some stunning sequences.

We've also been buying a lot of new kit with three new drones, including the outstanding Alta 8 aerial filming platform. This system gives us exciting new shot opportunities and lifting capabilities, being the only drone with the ability to top mount the camera and with an impressive payload capacity of 7kg.

It's also the smoothest system we've even flown and with its ability to fold down to 50% of its size in five minutes, it's perfect for any shoot, anywhere in the world!

We'll be displaying all of our new kit and looking forward to meeting and talking to you at stand 130 at the Media Production Show.

We'll have two of our heavy lift systems, full loaded with camera gear there for you to see, along with our latest show reel and possibly a few t-shirts to give away!

We had a great year last year working on some great drama productions including Poldark (BBC), You, Me and the Apocalypse (Sky), Dr Thorne (ITV), The Living and the Dead (BBC) and Close to the Enemy (BBC).

We also worked on several feature films that are still in postproduction at this point and commercials for EE, Carlsberg, Google Android, Bisto and the National Trust. We're excited to be working on some more great productions this year, many with a historical theme!

With a focus on high end drone cinematography, using the latest in camera and aerial filming technology we aim to deliver the highest quality and most dynamic shots possible. Come and talk to us about what we can offer for your production at the media production show on the 9th/10th June.
