FMI To Bring Global Formats To Latin America
FremantleMedia International (FMI) has confirmed it will be bringing its global formats, Family Feud, Got Talent and Idols to Latin America.
The revered Family Feud game show format will be coming to the Caribbean as a locally produced series for the first time in history and is expected to air in 22 countries across the region, including Trinidad and Tobago (CNC3), Jamaica (CVM Television), Bahamas (ZNS), Dominica (Marpin), Bermuda (ZBM-TV) and the Cayman Islands (Island 24). Production for Caribbean Family Feud will begin in Trinidad this spring and will be produced by Pavilion Entertainment.
In addition to Family Feud heading to the Caribbean, FMI will continue with the Guinness World Record-setting Got Talent format in Latin America. Chilevision will be entering into its sixth season of the 'Most Successful Reality Television Format' in history, while Ecuador's Ecuavisa network will enter into its fourth season. Got Talent is currently aired in 193 countries and is watched by an estimated 500 million people worldwide.
