Look Listen Experience Roadshow Brings Kit To The Regions

Following the Look Listen Experience roadshow in 2012, which hosted over 1,000 attendees, Visual Impact is taking to the road again with major production and post production manufacturers, as well as two new partners, Broadcast Magazine and post production reseller root6.
Held in Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff and London between 11-25 March, the show will showcase the latest production and post production technology along with regionally-focused seminars.
"Partnering with these two industry heavyweights made perfect sense," said Rob Newton, Visual Impact. "Both are leaders in their respective fields and they will bring a wider and more comprehensive coverage of the industry for visitors."
The Look Listen Experience roadshow has 4 elements: In the 'Manufacturers Zone', customers will be able to view the latest products and talk with experts from brands such as Sony, ARRI, Canon, Blackmagic, Sachtler, Vinten, Litepanels and JVC.
The 'Hands-on' zone will feature a range of the latest production equipment displayed in four dedicated areas: Cameras fully rigged with the appropriate accessories, including lights, microphones, tripods, lenses etc. will be displayed in 4K cinematography, hand-held, systems and education configurations.
Broadcast Magazine will be producing a leadership programme, bringing leaders in their field to the stage. The sessions are free to attend and will be made up of panelists to debate, discuss and answer questions in hourly slots in each city. Speakers confirmed so far include Gillian Pauling, MD Objective Scotland, Paul Austin, Head of Post-Production and Content, Dock10, Gabriel Wetz, Head of Post Production, Evolutions, Richard Moss, MD, Gorilla Group and Dave Klafkowski, Technical Director and Joint MD, The Farm.
root6 will be showcasing the latest post production software and technology and demonstrating solutions from leading vendors like Avid, Adobe, Front Porch Digital and Amulet. They are also hosting a seminar session entitled 'Post to the power of three' in which they will lay out how to treble return on investment using current technology and new workflows.
