Hamlet boosts quality control for CNBC Arabiya

Test and measurement manufacturer Hamlet has won a significant order from CNBC Arabiya.
A total of 16 waveform monitors and advanced monitoring units are installed in all the operational areas of CNBC Arabiya’s state-of-the-art facility in Dubai Media City. The channel is the first 24/7 business and financial news service to be launched in the Middle East for all 19 Arabic speaking countries across the Middle East Region with offices in Beirut, Baghdad, Cairo, Jeddah, Riyadh and Manama.
Hamlet products were selected for this application because the broadcaster needed to provide quality monitoring tools across all its operational areas, including ingest, NLE and graphics as well as transmission. "The Hamlet units are good for the operators because they are simple to use," explains CNBC’s Michael Brennan, adding, "but they also have plenty of detailed monitoring facilities, so that our engineers can troubleshoot on location when necessary."
