Agama TV Service Churn Risk Identification App Set For IBC2012 Launch

Agama Technologies, the video service quality assurance expert, is set to launching a unique Churn Identification Application addition to the reputable Agama DTV Monitoring Solution at IBC2012.
This latest innovation brings enhanced support to TV operators worldwide in their mission to reduce churn rates, thereby securing higher revenues and reduced costs for customer acquisition.
Churn, the process of loosing subscribers over time, is a major concern for TV operators worldwide. As the pay TV market develops, all operators - be they direct-to-home, cable, IPTV or OTT - face greater competition. Managing the service quality to retain customers has become vital for growth and profitability. A reduced churn rate has very clear business implications, as increased customer loyalty directly translates into higher revenues and reduced costs for customer acquisition.
A strategy to actively reduce churn rates naturally entails identifying those customers at risk of leaving the service. Insight into and understanding of the customer experience and quality distribution is essential to be able to accomplish that. At IBC2012, Agama is launching a unique Churn Identification Application extension to its powerful DTV Monitoring Solution, which efficiently can identify customers experiencing problems and at risk of churning. It utilizes intelligent analytics to data mine the real-time, 24/7 service quality monitoring data for every single customer, and it is seamlessly scalable to operators with millions of subscribers. With support of automation and proactive workflows, the extension enables operators to act to retain the customer - before he or she even decides to move to the competition.
"Proactively working to reduce churn rates by automatically identifying customers at risk, and of course the issues behind their problems, is a high-potential opportunity for all TV operators," said Johan Görsjö, Director of Product Management at Agama Technologies. "We've had the privilege of working in close cooperation with a number of leading operators for several years, giving us extensive real-world experience in advanced quality and customer satisfaction management and analytics. This has proved essential when developing the new Churn Identification Application extension to our solution, and we welcome everyone to our stand at IBC2012, to discuss churn reduction strategies and how Agama can support in this challenge."
Agama will showcase its complete solution for end-to-end video service assurance, including the new Churn Identification Application addition, at IBC2012 in Amsterdam on September 7-11. For a live demonstration and to learn more about the Agama DTV Monitoring Solution, visit stand 4.A55.
