Leader Heads To Munich For Digitale Cinematographie

Leader Instruments will demonstrate the latest additions to its range of production-centric test equipment at the 10th Digitale Cinematographie in Munich, 5-6 July. The event will be held in the Alte Kongresshalle. Represented by Richard Heath (European Regional Sales Manager), Leader will exhibit the LV5330, LV5380 and LV5770 as well as participating in workshop presentations.
Leader LV5330 portable HD/SD-SDI monitor with 6.5 inch XGA display
The LV5330 is a camera-mountable portable HD/SD-SDI monitor developed to address the needs of creative and technical personnel by providing information in a variety of easy-to-use and easy-to-understand displays. In-picture measurements as well as true-colour and false-colour displays allow fast and efficient understanding of measurements crucial to the production and post-production processes. The LV5330 can be operated in multi-display mode for complete and easy monitoring or in full-screen mode to enable detailed review of content. Picture, waveform, vector, five-bar, audio, status as well as CINELITE and CINEZONE displays provide all the features needed when working on location or in a control room. USB connectivity allows pictures to be captured for documentation purposes as well as storage of operator-specific presets or software updates. Dimensions are 215 x 128 x 63 mm (WHD) and weight is 1.4 kg.
Leader LV5380 multi-SDI monitor with 8.4 inch XGA display
The LV5330 incorporates an 8.4 inch XGA TFT colour LCD combining high resolution and high contrast range. It provides facilities for a variety of aspect ratios and markers. RGB on/off control allows the observation of individual or combined RGB channel permutations. A focus-assist function adjusts for aperture, providing a crisper look for in-focus areas. Digital full-line-select has an onscreen strobe that is locked in picture, waveform, vectorscope and data dump modes to facilitate investigation of any sample within the raster. A zoom function allows pixel-by-pixel examination of picture detail. The screen can be captured and superimposed over live video. Screen captures can also be saved to USB memory. Dimensions are 215 x 176 x 85 mm and weight is 2 kg.
Leader LV5770 multi-monitor platform with 6.3 inch XGA display
The LV5770 multi monitor supports full-format 3G-SDI, HD dual link, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI signals. Features include simultaneous monitoring of two SDI signals, SDI signal frame capture, picture monitor output and improved flexibility in display configuration. Available options are eye-pattern and jitter measurement; digital audio interface and analysis including loudness measurement, lip-sync timing display and surround-sound monitoring; analog audio; Dolby Digital support and Dolby metadata analysis; NTSC/PAL composite interface. An Ethernet interface can be used to control the LV5770 remotely over Telnet, detect remote system errors via SNMP, forward files via FTP or perform other operations from a connected PC. The remote control connector can be used to load presets, switch the input signal, and transmit error logs. Dimensions are 215 x 133 x 435 mm (WHD) and weight is 4 kg.
