IDX Technology welcomes International Manager

Spencer Doran has been appointed to the International Marketing Group at IDX Technology’s Headquarters at in Kawasaki, Japan, and will report directly to the IDX board.
This is a new position to lead the International Marketing Group in their focus on the needs of IDX customers around the world.
Doran has been with IDX Technology Europe for six years, and the last two as European Sales Manager have been especially successful as area sales have risen strongly over the period.
Tony O’Connor, Managing Director of IDX Technology Europe, said: "This is good news all round. It is an excellent opportunity for Spencer and also for our European broadcaster customers.
"Spencer’s knowledge of the European market means that their needs will be well represented at the factory level. We see this as an aid to faster and well-targeted product developments from which our international customers will benefit."
Mr Doran takes up his appointment on in August.
Established in 1989, IDX designs and manufacturers batteries, chargers, and power supplies for the broadcast and professional video industry. In 1996, IDX was the first to produce Lithium Ion NP batteries to meet camera users’ requirements for more power and less battery weight.
The company have centres in USA, Europe and Japan, supporting over 150 distributors and hundreds of dealers worldwide.
