Mike Green Appointed RTS Honorary Treasurer

The Royal Television Society, Britain's leading forum for television and related media, has announced that Mike Green, former Deputy Group Finance Director at ITV, has been appointed as Honorary Treasurer of the Royal Television Society.
Green succeeds Grant Murray who stepped down from the role after taking up his appointment as Chief Financial Officer at Johnson Press in May.
Mike Darcey, Chair of the RTS Board of Trustees, said: "The RTS owes Grant a considerable debt of gratitude for the time and commitment he has given as Honorary Treasurer, overseeing and advising the Board on the Society's financial affairs. We will miss his wise counsel, but we are delighted that Mike Green has agreed to take on this role.
"Mike brings considerable experience from a series of senior financial roles in television as well as an understanding of charity law from his role as a Director of the Sports Council Trust. We look forward to working with him over the coming years."
