Expansion for TSI appoints three new specialists to the team

TSI Post have announced the appointment of three new experienced specialists to the team.
Dave McGrath joins TSI Post as a dubbing mixer from Videosonics. Dave has been working in post production for 17 years originally starting his career in the BBC’s film department as a sound recordist. With a wealth of experience and an astounding credit list to his name, Dave’s previous work includes documentaries such as The Spying Game (BBC) and Panorama (BBC), and entertainment shows such as I’m Alan Partridge (Talkback for BBC), Frank Skinner Live (Avalon for Video Release) and The Last Fast Show Ever 2000 (BBC Entertainment). Dave is operating all of TSI’s Fairlight suites, joining a team of dubbing mixers working across all suites.
Avid specialist Adam Davies joins TSI as an addition to the engineering team from Tyrell. He joins to strengthen TSI’s in-house Avid support but will also be supporting other kit. His position at Tyrell as senior Avid support engineer meant Adam was providing services to many major post and broadcast clients in the London area. Adam started out in the broadcast industry in 1991 working for a small facility mastering tape suites and VT operations. He went on to become a senior Avid editor. During his career he has worked on various high-profile projects for clients including ITN factual and Channel 4.
TSI Post’s newly appointed Chief Engineer Paul Newton comes to TSI Post from Screen Subtitling where he was their pre-sales manager. Paul is responsible for the smooth technical running of the facility including maintenance, installations and support across the board. Previous to working at TSI, Paul provided a technical interface between Screen’s customers and the support and production infrastructure. Paul has worked in various engineering roles in the broadcast industry for over 20 years. His broadcast history also includes working for ITV regional broadcaster Anglia Television where he was Head of Projects and later became Head of Technical Support.
Simon Kanjee, managing director of TSI, said: “It's very tough out there at the moment and but TSI is doing well and the three appointments signify the continued growth and success of the company.”
