TSI post house establishes new 3D set-up

TSI, one of the UK’s leading independent broadcast services companies, have established a state-of-the-art 3D animation department.
The new department is to be headed by Simon Allen who joins TSI from Molinare.
TSI Managing Director, Simon Kanjee, said: “This is TSI’s first venture into 3D. It is traditionally an area that we have outsourced but the volume of work coming through made it commercially sensible to bring the capabilities in-house. It is an area we expect to exploit to offer broadcast clients the full range of services – from modelling and creation through to high-end finishing.”
TSI’s 3D set-up is based around Discreet 3ds max, Bryce, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere and Realviz image processing technology, and is fuelled by IBM Intellistation hardware.
Value added reseller Red Lorry Yellow Lorry made the sale and will support the systems.
