TSI TX announce major expansion in playout facilities

TSI TX, the London-based broadcast services company, are investing heavily in the expansion of their playout facility by increasing the capacity to broadcast a further 18 channels - taking the total number of channels available to 30.
Broadcasting channels across Europe on both cable and satellite platforms, TSI TX provide their clients with a broad range of broadcast services, including project management for channel launches and ongoing channel management. TSI TX are part of TSI Plc, which includes the award-winning creative branding company Skin and award-winning post production company TSI Post. Together, they offer the seamless integration of an entire range of technical and creative broadcast services.
Host to a diverse range of channels including Fox Kids Europe, Thomas Cook Television and National Geographic, TSI TX have also launched their latest newcomer, Simply Entertainment: The Entertainment Channel, on the Sky Digital platform. The channel features film trailers promoting the best of Hollywood and international DVD releases, giving viewers the opportunity to purchase directly from screen.
"We are delighted to be working with Simply Media TV, and again proving our ability to deliver cost-effective, high quality and flexible play-out solutions with the combination of a client-focused service ethic and creative use of technology," said Rupert Graves, general manager of TSI TX. He added: "Our newly expanded transmission facility will continue to deliver and secure reliable broadcast services, providing further opportunities to European broadcasters."
Henry Scott, chief executive of Simply Media TV, said: "We are very happy to have chosen TSI TX to play-out The Entertainment Channel, selecting them primarily for their innovation in helping us reduce post-production costs with the clever use of technology and creativity - helping us achieve the on-air look we wanted."
