The CTBF Announces New President

The trade charity of the UK film and television industries, has elected Anne Bennett as their new President.
Anne begins her three year term as President for The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF) immediately.
She has been a Trustee of the CTBF since 2003 and in 2009 became Vice President.
Until recently Anne was Senior Vice President of Marketing at EON Productions. Beginning her career in the British film industry in 1960 with British Lion Films, she moved to Paramount, CIC, UIP and finally EON Productions where she has worked as Senior Vice President of Marketing for the past ten years.
Anne commented: "I am honoured to accept this appointment and look forward to spending time helping a most worthwhile charity which provides benefits in an industry that gave me a fulfilling career over so many years. Together with my fellow trustees, our Chief Executive, Brian Robertson and his excellent colleagues at Golden Square and Glebelands, we aim to raise still further the profile of the CTBF to help us respond to the many requests for our help."
Brian Robertson, CTBF Chief Executive added: "I very much look forward to working with Anne who comes with a wealth of industry knowledge and experience. Anne’s expertise in the fields of Marketing and PR will be a huge asset to the Fund."
