The CTBF Announces New Vice Patrons

The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF), the trade charity of the UK film and television industries, has appointed as Vice Patrons of the Fund Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, producers of the James Bond films.
Long term supporters of the CTBF, Michael and Barbara have continued in Albery R "Cubby" Broccoli's legacy of support for the Fund.
David Willing was recently elected Trustee of the CTBF. David started his career working in distribution at UIP and Pathe. He moved into production at the Picture Production Company (PPC) as General Manager which he later purchased and expanded to create the largest specialist film marketing agency outside North America. In 2007, he sold PPC to concentrate on his producing and directing career.
David still owns the highly regarded public relations company Premier PR and the market research specialists First Movies. Last year, he was one of the producers on the number one children's CGI TV show 'Pinky and Perky' and is currently in production on his own creation The Hive for GMTV and Disney.
His first joint venture company, WP Productions, has just completed their first feature film My Last Five Girlfriends, which is based on the book Essays in Love by Alan de Botton, and will be released in 2010 by Paramount. He is currently producing the feature Shotgun Wedding.
Anne Bennett has been elected Vice President of the Fund. Until recently Senior Vice President of Marketing at EON Productions, Anne began her career in the British film industry in 1963 with British Lion Films moving to Paramount, CIC, UIP and finally EON Productions where she has worked as SVP of Marketing for the past ten years. Anne has been a Trustee of the Fund since 2003.
