Time Warner's Bewkes Heads Line Up For RTS 2010

The Royal Television Society (RTS) has announced a line-up of illustrious speakers for its 2010 International Conference, headed by Time Warner Chair and Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Bewkes who will deliver this year's keynote.
Sponsored by Deloitte, the one-day conference is entitled ‘Doing It’ and will focus on successful digital content exploitation, with personal insights from the US, Far East, Continental Europe and the UK. It will take place at London's Barbican Centre on 28th September.
The UK Broadcasting Minister, Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport, will discuss policy developments as the new government approaches its sixth month in office.
As Britain's new government rolls out its plans for high speed broadband, Dr Suk-Ho Bang, President of KISDI, Korea's top broadcasting and telecommunication think tank, reveals how this brave new world really works.
With Project Canvas and Google TV imminent, the new VOD market will be mapped by an independent producer (Liz Murdoch, Chair & CEO, Shine), a broadcaster (David Abraham, CEO, Channel 4), a platform owner (Neil Berkett, CEO, Virgin) and a game changer (Matt Brittin, CEO, Google UK).
And as well as examining the UK Government's digital polices, the conference will hear from President of NBC International, Peter Smith and EVP & Managing Director of Disney Channels EMEA, Giorgio Stock.
The RTS International Conference Planning Committee is chaired by Peter Bazalgette.
