Neil Hillier Appointed CEO As Adder Unveils New Leadership Structure

Adder Technology has announced the appointment of Neil Hillier as Chief Executive Officer, effective from 1 July 2026, as part of a planned leadership transition designed to support the company’s continued growth, innovation and global expansion.

The move marks a new chapter for the global provider of high-performance IP KVM and connectivity solutions, as demand for secure connectivity and control of mission-critical systems continues to grow. The company said the increasing adoption of high-performance IP KVM technologies is helping organisations support distributed operations, strengthen cybersecurity, improve operational resilience and manage increasingly complex workflows.

Hillier takes over from Adrian Dickens, who will transition to the role of Founder & Executive Chair after leading the business for 42 years. Nigel Dickens will move into the role of Emeritus CTO. The leadership changes align with the company’s long-term stewardship strategy following the recent announcement of its Employee Ownership Trust.

Having joined Adder in 2016, Hillier has played a key role in the company’s development, helping drive revenue growth of more than 70% while contributing to long-term strategic planning and strengthening Adder’s position in global markets. With more than two decades of experience in the KVM industry, he brings expertise across engineering, technology, operations and commercial management.

Alongside the CEO appointment, Adder has also announced a strengthened leadership structure designed to support its future ambitions.

Paul Allen has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, taking on a broader financial remit across the Adder group and supporting continued investment in long-term operational and sustainable growth.

Meanwhile, Jamie Adkin has been promoted to Vice President of Global Sales. During his 18 years with the business, Adkin has developed extensive experience across the company and built strong relationships with customers and partners worldwide.

Duncan Miller has also been promoted to Vice President Global Marketing and Customer Experience, taking on expanded responsibilities across marketing, customer experience, professional services and support as Adder looks to strengthen customer relationships and deliver value across the customer journey.
