Omneon Adds Newest Service Partners
At IBC2009 Omneon recognized three new members of the company's Authorized Service Partner Programme.
This leverages partner relationships in select territories and regions to augment the company's direct customer service capabilities.
Leading systems integrators and distributors Netorium GmbH, Shaf Broadcast, and Ibertelco Electrónica represent significant additions to the program and bring their extensive technical skills, experience, and product and system knowledge to bear in providing Omneon clients a high level of responsiveness and customer service.
"Netorium offers 24/7 support to its customer base in Europe, and our staff and facilities are well-equipped to maintain and further the global service reputation of Omneon," said Frank Herrmann, managing director at Netorium GmbH, located in Wiesbaden, Germany.
"In addition to testing with our in-house gear, we can prequalify new Omneon releases against third-party applications before the rollout at customer sites. Customers recognize that the local presence of native-speaking service engineers simplifies the management of complex systems, and this understanding contributes to a valuable long-term relationship with the client. Simply speaking, 'A good service sells twice.'"
"Through the Omneon Service Partners program, our company is now even better positioned to respond to the needs of our clients and provide familiar, knowledgeable support for advanced broadcast solutions," said João Paulo Pessanha, Chief Executive Officer of Portugal's Ibertelco Electrónica. "We have worked closely with Omneon in completing key installations, and we're pleased to be building on this relationship and enhancing the support available to our shared customers."
"Omneon has a strong reputation as the global leader in media storage and processing, and the company is well-known in India's broadcast sector," said P.R. Suresh, director at Shaf Broadcast.
"We are excited to be part of the Omneon Service Partners program, and we look forward to continued success in providing Omneon customers with the service and solutions necessary for growth in a highly competitive marketplace."
Service Partner status gives Netorium, Shaf, and Ibertelco greater exposure to Omneon training, enabling each company to provide high-level support within its territory, and serves as a foundation for increased development and sales of customer services and solutions.
The close ties between these companies and Omneon's own worldwide service organization will ensure seamless handling of customer support cases, regardless of its complexity.
"Providing world-class service has always been a key component of our business strategy," said Ron Howe, Senior Vice President of worldwide service, support, and operations at Omneon.
"As customer demands and expectations rise and our installed base continues to expand in terms of number and global distribution, the Service Partners program enables us to be proactive in identifying and working with key service partners in critical geographic and business areas. We're very pleased to welcome Netorium, Shaf, and Ibertelco to the program."
