BBC choose JVC D-ILA for portable HD conference system

BBC production modernisation, based in Wood Lane, London, have selected a JVC D-ILA projector, model DLA-SX21 and a 90-inch CinePro HC rear-projection screen to be fully integrated into a new portable conference system.
As part of the BBC's move to demonstrate HD, this new system will be used for various business activities including training, seminars, screenings, demonstrations, workshops and business presentations.
The versatile SX21 has a user-friendly, compact design able to reach extremely high accuracy levels for HD viewing.
Image resolution is higher than average at SXGAplus (1400 x 1050) and therefore less compression is needed for HDTV (1920 x 1080). The SX21 has advanced scaling circuitry and accurate colour reproduction, is flicker free and has the appearance of being pixel free.
The CinePro rear projection screen is lightweight and when combined in a projection system, the final image, even under normal lighting remains bright, crisp and clear, with no loss of contrast and has extremely high accuracy levels, making this system the perfect vehicle for flexible HD viewing.
