Zone Horror Launches Annual Short Film Competition Cut!

The UK's number one dedicated horror TV channel, Zone Horror, has relaunched its short film competition, CUT!
Zone Horror, part of the Chello Zone TV network, is opening entries for its two-minute horror short film competition, CUT! 2009. Now in its third year, CUT! has attracted hundreds of entries from budding movie makers.
Last year's winning entry was by a Yorkshire postman who made his film for just £40. The top ten entries will be unveiled on Zone Horror as part of a special programming week this Halloween and the winner will receive a prize of £2,000.
The prestigious judging panel comprises internationally renowned horror journalist Alan Jones, Troma Entertainment's Lloyd Kaufman, Hollywood horror feature film director Joe Wrong Turn 2 Lynch and Zone Horror's Channel Manager Daniel Cooper. Entry details are available on: www.zonehorror.tv.
Clare Dentith, Head of Marketing and PR at Chello Zone, said: "The continued success of our CUT! short film competition demonstrates Zone Horror's appeal to horror fans and budding film-makers and highlights the strong sense of community among our loyal viewers. We look forward to watching all the brand new film entries this year."
