Fairlight Supplies Three Xynergi Systems For A New Opera House in China
Hefei, the capital city of Anhul Province in Southeast China, will soon have a brand new opera house that will incorporate two performance halls and a recording and mixing studio to capture live events taking place in the complex.
Among the equipment being installed in the complex are three Fairlight Xynergi MPC96 systems, which will be used for recording and post production.
Two of the Xynergi systems will be installed in the music and drama halls where live performances will be recorded, while the third is destined for the recording and mixing studio.
The Opera House is receiving technical advice from the local broadcast station, Anhul TV, whose engineers are regarded as the best in the area. Anhul TV has had a long term relationship with Fairlight and has used Fairlight products for many years. They have recommended Xynergi because it delivers all the tools the Opera House will need for high-end audio for video production in all widely used surround formats.
Fairlight's Xynergi Media Production Centre harnesses the processing power of the company's Crystal Core technology (CC-1) and incorporates integrated HD video. The system features the Xynergi controller, a desktop user interface that allows engineers to access all features and functions of the Fairlight CC-1.
The Fairlight technology platform also offers unparalleled native support for a huge variety of file formats, including Apple Final Cut Pro, AAF, OMF, MXF, Quicktime and more.
Designed for a wide range of customers, Fairlight's CC-1 powered systems are targeted at users looking for a professional grade audio finishing system to create multimedia projects. It has already been installed in key broadcast and post production facilities around the world including CCTV in China, NHK in Japan, SBS in Korea and NFL Films in the USA.
