SGO Mistika Acquires Mexican Reseller And Two New Customers

A leading European developer of high-end solutions for the post-production and broadcast industries is pleased to announce that following a recent successful launch in Mexico, a new official SGO Mistika Reseller Misti-K, owned by Director, Alejandro Riojas, has been acquired in the region.
SGO Mistika has been very well received in the Mexican market resulting in two major purchases, one by Mexican post production facility Ome-G Productions and the other by top Mexican University Tecnologico de Monterrey, now offering Mistika training courses for future visual effects artists, following the product launch.
Leading Mexican post production facility, Ome-G Productions, invested in an SGO Mistika suite to add to its current post production services. Ome-G's Managing Director, Gustavo Simental, confirmed: "I decided to purchase an SGO Mistika Post Production Systems from Reseller Misti-K because it was a completely integrated system where you could manage most aspects of post-production.
"It is extremely time efficient to have colour correction, compositing and editing tools all in one system.
"or that reason, I consider that SGO Mistika is not a luxury, but a necessity for a post production facility."
Ome-G is a post house situated in Mexico DF offering a complete range of production and post production services, as well as rental of equipment for film, commercial and television production.
Technologico de Monterrey, one of the most prestigious and technologically advanced universities in Mexico, has also just purchased SGO Mistika to include in its advanced curriculum.
The virtual university upgraded its current equipment with an SGO Mistika in 2K DI including ten educational licenses demonstrating its serious commitment to the product in the region and abroad.
With the new SGO Mistika system, Tec de Monterrey will be able to offer its students high-end training skills such as compositing, editing, colour grading, restorations, experience working with 2K in real-time, and the challenge of using a professional high-end system which is currently being used for television, film and commercials projects across the world.
SGO Mistika will become more well known across Mexico through their educational programmes.
The university is made up of more than thirty campuses and headquarters all around Mexico and has a presence in more than twenty cities across the globe. It also caters for a multicultural atmosphere admitting international students from over seventy countries and teachers from more than fifty countries, bringing a variety of international higher-educational programmes.
Gildardo Sánchez, who is in charge of the Centre for Animation and Digital Arts in Tec de Monterrey Campus Guadalajara, stated: "After reviewing a number of different options, we decided to invest in SGO Mistika given the excellent features and functions assigned to the system, the high recommendations of several professionals already using it, its outstanding quality and the compatibility with other equipment we are buying for our centre, such as the Red One cameras, for example. We are seriously committed to ensure that we have the best technology available for our students at all times, as well as for the local industry, that is why we decided to go for SGO Mistika."
