Calder Equipment join the RTI Group

The RTI Group have announced the incorporation into the group of film processor specialists Calder Equipment, with immediate effect.
Calder Equipment, based in Harpenden, were established in 1972, and are well-respected designers and builders of a wide range of motion picture film processing machines, including units for ECNII, ECPII and black and white films. Over 300 units have been installed worldwide. Duncan C. Calder, who founded the company, will remain active in the business. Senior managers Laurie Erwood and Ron Osborn will also continue in their current roles as production and design specialists.
RTI have been working on front-end lab projects for many years, and describe the development as a natural extension of an already very successful relationship.
Calder Equipment will join film cleaner manufacturer Lipsner Smith and film printer specialists BHP as members of the RTI Group.
