Irdeto Launches Universal Client DTA Security Solution

A leading expert in content and business model protection solutions and services, Irdeto, has announced the official launch of the Irdeto Universal Client DTA security solution for the North American cable industry.
The solution is designed to give cable companies new, cost-effective choices for achieving a full digital cable transition and reducing their dependence on existing security and set-top box (STB) vendors.
Cable operators are increasingly seeking to reclaim analog bandwidth to offer more HD, VOD and broadband services, allowing them to more effectively compete with DTH platforms.
