Escape - To The Movies

Empire Cinemas has launched Escape, a free magazine about the latest films and treats for its customers that will be distributed in its cinemas across the UK.
Escape will be produced by Summersault Communications, a leading employee and customer communication specialist.
Escape, which will be issued bi-monthly and will be available in cinema foyers, will provide 36 pages of authoritative information for cinemagoers focusing on forthcoming films, reviews, behind-the-scenes news, features and competitions.
It will also run a gossip column that will provide inside information such as who has been lined up for the latest film roles. The centrepiece will be its star-studded profiles, offering readers exclusive personal interviews with Hollywood and British actors, directors and producers.
Jon Nutton, Marketing Manager, Empire Cinemas, commented: "We wanted to launch a magazine for our customers that would act as an informative guide about what's currently showing, what's new and what films they should look out for."
The launch of Escape magazine follows the launch of the Empire Cinemas Film Card in October.
Gail Franks, managing director of Summersault Communications, added: "This is an exciting project. The magazine will not only cover the entertaining world of cinema, but will also let its readers know about promotions that Empire Cinemas is currently running including meal deals and other special offers.
Empire's famous flagship cinema in Leicester Square, which opened in 1884 originally as a theatre, is a renowned venue for major film premieres.
