Network name new product line

Network Electronics have named their new digital glue line, opting for 'ConQuer' after an appeal for suggestions at IBC 2002.
The "ConQuer" family of products includes analogue-to-digital and digital-to-analogue video and audio converters, embedders, de-embedders, audio mixers, framestores, line-synchronizers and audio delays. Plans are also underway to add monitor converters and distribution amplifiers in the near future. Modules will all be housed in the same frame concept as the flashlink optical line.
Wiggo Evensen, Network Electronics' managing director of sales and marketing, announced a 'Name Network's New Family' contest at the opening of IBC 2002 in Amsterdam. Approximately 1000 suggestions competed for the first prize of 1000 Euros. According to Evensen, 'ConQuer' was chosen after careful consideration by Network Electronics' sales and marketing management team because it best reflects the positive and competitive spirit of the Network team, offices and distributors.
