Petrol Bags Ready For Sony PMW-EX3

Petrol, a leading producer of professional carrying bags and accessories for portable cameras, lighting, audio, support and other production equipment, offers three ways to protect and transport the PMW-EX3.
Now there are two new camera carriers and a Petrol Raincover custom-tailored to fit Sony's popular HDV camcorder.
Inspired by a traditional doctor's bag, the Dr. Petrol camera carrier (PDRB-4) carries the EX3 and similar size cameras comfortably and securely and offers fast and easy access on the job.
The bag's hinged top unzips extra wide to a generous central compartment with enough room to hold the EX3 fully equipped, without disturbing the mic, viewfinder or mattebox.
Detachable padded dividers help secure contents and can be custom configured to hold important accessories. Layers of cushioned fabric surround and cushion equipment while upper panels of shockproof cold molded laminate provide extra rugged protection. Operators will appreciate the exterior side pocket for additional storage, U-Grip interlock carrying handle, adjustable ergonomic padded shoulder strap and quick action dual directional easy-glide zippers.
Petrol's new Cocoon (PCBP-3N) is the ideal way to transport an EX3 plus a laptop while travelling or hiking to hard to reach locations. The PCBP-3N's ergonomic backpack system is optimally designed to provide correct weight distribution and greater carrying comfort.
The bright orange padded interior cradles the camera without disturbing the mic or viewfinder. Removable dividers offer protection and storage pockets for important accessories. A secondary two-sided zippered rear compartment easily holds a laptop with up to a 17" screen.
Other features include exterior front and side accessory pockets, an interior mesh pocket for additional storage, padded top handle, dual directional easy-glide zippers and exterior straps for carrying a full-size tripod.
The PRC-XL Raincover provides the ultimate weather protection for the PMW-EX3 while shooting. Constructed of sturdy 100% nylon, it features an extra-large clear vinyl side window for maximum visibility of camera controls. The smart opening for sunguns is equipped with a thermoformed gasket to keep out dampness, while the cover's rigid front hood section offers extra lens protection. What's more, Petrol's tapered two-piece sleeve design provides coverage for microphones of various sizes. Water resistant zippers and hook and loop closures ensure quick installation and easy hand access to camera controls.
