ITV Global Entertainment Catches Kindle In Deal And Announces Initial Project

ITV Global Entertainment has concluded a first look exclusive distribution deal with independent producer Kindle Entertainment, Peter Iacono, President and Managing Director, has announced.
Kindle Entertainment is the new indie, recently launched by multiple-award-winning producers Anne Brogan and Melanie Stokes.
Under the new agreement, Kindle Entertainment and ITV Global Entertainment will work together to develop projects for the worldwide content market.
The announcement also heralds the first development project in the deal, 'The Troubadours' a show for pre-schoolers, based around a trio of travelling musicians on a quest to share their music with the world.
The new deal also gives ITV Global Entertainment worldwide distribution rights to the brand new ninety-minute feature film, 'Dustbin Baby', based on the novel by best-selling author, Jacqueline Wilson.
The family drama will premiere on BBC1 this Christmas 2008 and features a stellar cast including Juliet Stevenson ('Truly, Madly, Deeply', 'Place of Execution'), Dakota Blue Richards ('The Golden Compass') and David Haig ('Four Weddings and a Funeral', 'My Boy Jack').

Kindle Entertainment is currently in production with its third and fourth season of popular kids comedy, 'My Spy Family', for Turner Kids. The first-ever live action scripted comedy for Turner, it has quickly established itself as an appointment-to-view in the UK and across Turner's pan-European channel.
Kindle's first preschool series, 'Big & Small', a Kindle Entertainment/3 J's Entertainment production for BBC, produced in association with Treehouse and Studio 100, launches this autumn with Lenny Henry playing the voices of both Big and Small, and Imelda Staunton voicing their friends, Ruby and Twiba.
Kindle's show about the making of the next Harry Potter movie airs on ITV1 this autumn.
'Harry Potter: Behind the Magic' will coincide with the launch of the new Warner Bros. film 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince', which opens in cinemas worldwide in November.
