New Mother And Baby Internet TV Concept To Launch In July

A new web-site - www.mybirth.tv - representing 'real life' pregnancy and birth experiences online, with material shot to broadcast standard, is about to be 'born'.
Launching in July 2008, www.mybirth.tv, is a totally new concept in 'baby' websites; an internet TV channel devoted to mother and baby programming, designed to provide a diverse range of 'real life' experience, combined with expert advice from a panel of midwives, obstetricians, paediatricians and health professionals.
News, advice and entertaining new baby shows will be available through the site in video form, 24 hours a day.
The material shown on the website has been shot to broadcast TV standards from the producers of such popular TV standards from the producers of such popular TV programmes as: Special Babies, Homebirth Diaries, From Here to Maternity and Home Grown Babies.
The web-site is the brainchild of Bernadette Bos, a leading TV producer of pregnancy and birth programming and qualified midwife. She explains: "We hope to provide mothers and fathers with a network of support, reassurance and friendship in an easily accessible and highly interactive online TV forum.
"This is the first time this has been available in this format on a parenting website. Over the years we have shot a huge range of pregnancy and birthing scenarios, which we can now share with new parents-to-be. We will also provide forums for discussion and sound advice from our expert panel, which will be constantly updated and refreshed."
Following its launch, www.mybirth.tv will be updated regularly with new ongoing stories from maternity units, birth centres and homes around the country.
