Open Mike's TV Ding Dong For Alan Carr Announced

A comedy indie company, Open Mike Productions, has been commissioned by Channel 4 to produce a second series of Alan Carr's Celebrity Ding Dong (6x45') - a loud, tongue-in-cheek show that pits members of the public against famous faces in a game where both can win a slice of the high life.
Comedian Alan Carr, one half of the irrepressible Friday Night Project team, hosts this showbiz bash with an exclusive guest list - the first series included Johnny Vegas, Chris Moyles, Louis Walsh and Davina McCall.
Dotted between each round, the programme will feature Alan taking a cheeky peek up the skirt of celebrity with a selection of comedy studio items.
Alan Carr's Celebrity Ding Dong, which is due to broadcast in the autumn, was commissioned by Andy Auerbach for Channel 4.
It will be executive produced by Andrew Beint and Addison Cresswell for Open Mike Productions.
Channel 4 has also acquired the broadcast rights from Open Mike for Alan Carr - Tooth Fairy Live, Carr's sold out live stand-up show at Hammersmith Apollo.
Over the past 16 years Open Mike has created and produced around 50 broadcast shows and pilots, both for TV and Radio, for all the major UK terrestrial and digital channels; spanning most genres.
