BAL421 display unit gains VGA option

BAL Broadcast have further improved the versatility of their renowned BAL421 quad-split display unit by adding a VGA (computer monitor) output option.
The standard BAL421 is available with serial digital video (SDV) and analogue (both composite and component) output options. This latest enhancement allows the additional use of computer monitors to display the images. This provides a very cost-effective way of producing images to monitor that signals are present.
It is now quite normal to use computer displays to monitor video signals because of the significant cost savings available over standard broadcast video monitors. When the BAL421 with VGA option is used this further reduces the cost, while increasing the versatility of the installation.
The unit works with SDV inputs which do not need to be synchronous and will operate in a 625/50 or 525/60 environment.
