Pixel Power To Demonstrate Broadcaster Solutions At Broadcast LIVE

Pixel Power is using its presence at Broadcast Live to demonstrate its solutions on two key issues for broadcasters today - how to produce thrilling graphics for sport and news in real-time, and how to develop memorable channel branding schemes.
The solutions are HD ready, and are designed to be affordable to implement and simple to operate.
The Pixel Power Clarity 3000 platform is a single channel, HD/SD switchable graphics platform. It delivers full character generation, still store, DVE and 3D tools, along with video and audio clip capability. Its automation interface allows it to draw in data from external sources, anything from a sports statistics computer to station automation and populate templates in real time to create dynamic graphic sequences, complete with live video squeezeback and DVE.
Featured in the Broadcast Live demonstration will be the latest Clarity option, CG-3D. This adds comprehensive 3D capabilities, including the import of complex models from industry-standard 3D systems but requires no 3D experience on the part of the operator, and it can be triggered by automated control.
LogoVision represents a new generation of branding devices. Using solid state storage for security, this compact unit can insert multiple clocks, multi-layer static and animated logos, text crawls and other branding and commercial graphics. It can be programmed from a web browser and driven by the station automation over serial, ethernet or GPI connections.
"Graphics should be about creativity not repetitive drudgery," said James Gilbert, Managing Director of Pixel Power. "Our systems let designers do what they are good at - create vibrant, dynamic television graphics. Then we let the automation take over, whether that is triggering sequences or populating templates. With the Pixel Power solution, broadcasters have affordable equipment, low running costs, satisfied creative staff and uncompromised graphics."
Pixel Power is demonstrating Clarity 3000, CG-3D, LogoVision and other products on stand C4 at Broadcast Live, Earls Court 2, 19 to 21 June 2007.
