Pixel Power Demonstrates Unrivalled 3D Graphics Speed At Broadcast Asia 2008

Pixel Power, a leading broadcast graphics systems provider, is bringing to the Broadcast Asia exhibition (Stand: 7J4-01) demonstrations of its powerful and configurable SD and HD graphics systems.
Solutions will be demonstrated for a broad range of applications, from automated master control and branding to live news and sports production.
Pixel Power products lead the way in graphics power today through their capacity to deliver the most advanced features without imposing a heavy burden on the operators.
Demonstrated for the first time in the Asia-Pacific market will be Pixel Power's unique real-time graphics solutions, aimed at sports and live production. For the first time, creative and complex 3D graphics sequences can be built quickly and by any artist without the need for specialist 3D training. Designers and operators used to character generators can now create packages using templates, which are automatically updated, for example, by sports statistics. Thanks to Pixel Power, producers can enrich the viewing experience in MOS-compliant systems integration with broadcast newsrooms and its support for automated operation is unrivalled. Again, the advantage of the Pixel Power Clarity character generator family is that it gives the designer complete creative freedom to develop a distinct look for the news service - now including 3D graphics - while automating the playout to guarantee accuracy without the need for additional, specialist staff.
Finally, Pixel Power will be focusing on its channel branding solutions at Broadcast Asia. The flexible architecture means that each broadcaster's needs can be individually tailored from the right combination of Clarity character generators, LogoVision channel branding devices and Pixel Promo DJ automation software. The solution can be as simple as logo, clock and text insertion, or it could be a complete and fully automated promo and branding system which creates unique promotional and branding sequences for each programme junction by interfacing with the planning and scheduling systems and with external sources of data.
James Gilbert, Director of Pixel Power, said: "The Asian market is booming for us at present, and we are very excited about Broadcast Asia 2008. We have a uniquely powerful set of products that build on the concept of the character generator, but go far beyond it. With our standard functionality, we can deliver systems that can completely automate master control branding, provide template driven graphics in the newsroom, or bring stunning live 3D sequences to sport.
Gilbert added: "Not only do our products offer far more functionality than simple graphics devices, they are still simple to operate, so you do not lose staff on long retraining programmes - they can be creating attractive content straight away. Finally, our products are affordable, reliable and deliverable today."
