NTL Broadcast plays out dual role for News World 2002

NTL Broadcast have provided one of their new ‘speaker support package’ production trucks to this year’s News World conference in Dublin.
Successfully tried at the recent Commonwealth Broadcasters Association, the package includes a team of engineers who will film, mix audio/visual feeds and playout both live and pre-recorded material for big screen coverage throughout the conference.
This is the first time that News World have provided coverage of the speakers at the conference. Crucially, the package combines an outside broadcast and production unit with satellite up-linking and down-linking capabilities, enabling attendees at the conference to take advantage of NTL services, including a dedicated camera, to produce and transmit live down-the-line interviews.
NTL Broadcast are also exhibiting the latest products in their portfolio, notably the launch of the Feltham Playout Centre’s dedicated ‘news drop-in’ facility. Designed with its proximity to London Heathrow in mind, it is able to swiftly film, edit and uplink a news or celebrity interview piece for international broadcasters.
NTL Broadcast are also introducing their new published rate card for a full range of occasional video services to all News World attendees.
The new rate card is aimed at simplifying the process of buying occasional services with a clear pricing structure and highly competitive multi-product deals.
